Planning a weekend on the Island's west coast or passing by the town of Isabela? Then make sure to include in your itinerary a stop by the historical Guajataca Tunnel. Every weekend, the tunnel area gets filled by local artisans and food kiosks, making it the perfect morning or afternoon stop. Aside from the food and crafts, you'll also find a small miniature train offering short rides through the tunnel, which recreates the route taken by Puerto Rico's railway back in the early 1900s. Children will especially enjoy the short pony and horse rides being offered onsite.
