Cardona Cay, also known as Sor Isolina Ferré island, is one of the seven islands that form part of the city of Ponce. The island is small and uninhabited, located south of Barrio Playa. Many people enjoy water activities, such as kayaking, along its shore. A lighthouse was built in 1889, which is now considered part of the National Register of Historic Places.
