The Second International Writers' Congress aims to sustain and strengthen the connection between Puerto Rican readers, writers, editors, and aspiring student writers.

Some of the confirmed international writers for the Second International Writers' Congress include the Cervantes Prize winner, Sergio Ramírez; the French Nobel Prize laureate residing in Mexico, Jean Marie Gustave Le Clézio; the winner of the 2022 Caribbean Literature Prize, Dominican author Rita Indiana; the recent recipient of the European Crime Novel Prize, Spanish writer Berna González Harbour; the young Mexican author Valeria Luiselli, a Dublin Literary Award recipient; the writer Laura Restrepo, winner of the Alfaguara Prize and the Cedro Prize; and the Spanish author Julia Navarro.

Furthermore, Pulitzer Prize winner Junot Díaz and Juan Rulfo Novel Prize winner Ignacio Ferrando will also be joining us. In total, ten international writers will visit us, along with a selection of 15 Puerto Rican writers. This will provide an opportunity for cultural exchange to promote our literature and continue nurturing reading habits.

During the Book Fair, held in conjunction with the Congress,will have publishers, bookstores, and independent authors participating.
