ArteYunque announces RÍO, the third edition of its annual exhibition, held along the Science and Conservation Trail at El Portal de El Yunque. Featuring eight newly commissioned works by Puerto Rican artists Gisela Colón, Jaime Suárez, Jaime Rodríguez Crespo, Lena Galíndez, Edra Soto, Dhara Rivera, Daniel Lind Ramos, and Frances Rivera González, RÍO reflects on the heart of the forestthe intricate network of rivers and tributaries that flow through El Yunque and sustain life beyond its borders. Through a multidisciplinary program that includes poetry, music, and movement in dialogue with the exhibited works, RÍO offers an immersive experience exploring the natural, cultural, and symbolic meanings of water in Puerto Rico.
