Guajataka Scout Reservation

About

Founded in 1938, Guajataka Scout Reservation or Campamento Guajataka is known within scouting circles as “El Santuario de Amistad” which translates to “The Sanctuary of Friendship. Located on the northwest part of the island in San Sebastián, the property partially borders the southern portion of Guajataca Lake. Guajataka Scout Reservation is a short drive from Río Camuy Cave Park and Bosque Estatal de Guajataca. The camp is the Puerto Rico BSA Council's only scout camp reservation and has a participant capacity of little more than 500. Recreational activities, summer camps, seminars, leadership training and Scouting-related meetings are typically held at the camp.
