Aimed at preventing the spread of COVID-19, the Puerto Rico Tourism Company (PRTC) developed a mandatory Health and Safety Program with rigorous guidelines that must be implemented by all tourism-related businesses. These safety rules follow the industry standards established by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), the OSHA 3990 report, and the Puerto Rico Department of Health.
The self-compliance seal is issued to businesses that have acknowledged and certified maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for employees and customer's health and safety.
