The Escuela de Artes Plásticas y Diseño is the only educational institution in Puerto Rico that offers a Bachelor of Fine Arts. The school originated in the art workshops of the Instituto de Cultura Puertorriqueña and has managed to become a university center dedicated to the arts and design, without losing sight of its workshop heritage. It also serves the community with art and design courses and workshops for adults, youth, and children.
