Named after one of the island's greatest baseball pitchers, Ponce's Francisco "Paquito" Montaner Stadium is a multi-use sports complex that can accommodate over 16,000 attendees. The "Paquito" Montaner is mostly used as the "home" stadium for Ponce's baseball team— los Leones de Ponce. In addition, the stadium can also be used for track, soccer, and other sporting events.
