Parroquia San Francisco de Asís

About

One of Aguada's most treasured landmarks is its historical church, Parroquia San Francisco de Asís, which is located in the town's main square. The structure that stands today, was finalized in 1936 after the original structure was destroyed in the earthquake of 1918. The church's style is neogothic and it boasts the Island's tallest twin towers in a church. The church stained glass windows were imported from Spain in 1959 and its bells are from Germany.
