Plaza Pública de Orocovis

On October 29, 1838, the Saint John Baptist parish was inaugurated in the town's main plaza. Over the years the structures of the church and the plaza have been rebuilt and remodeled several times. The lands where the plaza and church are built were donated by the town's founder, Juan de Rivera y Santiago.
