This natural reserve was established specifically for the promotion and management of recreational fishing. The Guajataca Reservoir Wildlife Refuge has facilities specially designed for shore fishing and fishing by boat. The refuge has an information office, gazebos, bathrooms with showers, ramp and carts for boats, and on-site parking for vehicles.
