Reserva Natural Caño la Boquilla

The Caño Boquilla natural reserve is an estuary swamp forest that was officially recognized by the Puerto Rico Department of Natural Resources in 2002. The reserve's ecosystems are ideal for nesting of endangered sea turtles such as the leatherback and the hawksbill. The Antillean manatee has also been seen in the area.
