About

Volunteers are needed! Join SBP Puerto Rico, a national disaster recovery organization dedicated to shrinking the time between disaster and recovery. SBP Puerto Rico has been our local long-term disaster recovery operation in San Juan since 2018. We specialize in repairing and rebuilding homes for families in need. So far, we have rebuilt more than 250 houses in more than 12 municipalities and have more families still waiting to rebuild their homes and lives. Register as a volunteer and get the chance to learn basic construction skills while rebuilding the home of a hurricane impacted family. We receive volunteers all year round, from Monday through Saturday from 8:45am to 4:45pm, and participants must be 14 years or older. With your help, SBP works daily to create a clear path forward for families and fortify them against their breaking point.
