Yaucromatic is a public art project that began in 2017 and is run by the non-profit organization Arte Para Unir Inc. The community leader, Jonathan Hernández León is the organizer and together with a group of artists and volunteers they have impacted with works of art the Urban Helmet of Yauco. Currently the Yaucromatic project has 4 editions and more than 60 works of art that turn the town center into an open-air art gallery. One of the works that stands out is the “Tropical Breeze” Macromural located in the Cerro de Yauco Quarry Sector, which has been visited by hundreds of thousands of people.
