About
It's narrow geographic form make Guánica's bay one of the safest ports in Puerto Rico, providing excellent shelter for boats during hurricanes and bad weather. The bay is surrounded by a couple of historic landmarks, and amongst are the ruins of Fuerte Caprón which can be reached through Guánica's dry forest.
