Malecon House

Malecón House is a 13-room Boutique Hotel situated on the Malecón, a fun, picturesque Caribbean boardwalk in the charming seaside village of Esperanza, Vieques, Puerto Rico. A short stroll brings you to beach bars, restaurants, boutiques and exciting island-style activities and tours.

They are at the relaxed western end of the Malecón, set behind mature native trees and embraced by tropical surroundings. The hotel has a clear view of the quiet bay and perfect access to Esperanza, Vieques and its namesake Malecón (boardwalk). Beaches, activities, shopping and nightlife are just steps away. They have off-street parking if you decide to rent a vehicle.

Every room is spacious and well-appointed with quality furnishings. The large comfortable beds are made with smooth, high thread-count linens. Their rooms are all air-conditioned and have ceiling fans. Some of our rooms have balconies, with superb views of Esperanza Bay, the Malecón, and our Caribbean tropical setting.

Savor a morning cup of coffee and fresh breakfast while you enjoy breathtaking ocean views and lush Caribbean gardens, or find a shady spot in their hotel gardens with a cool drink and a book, shaded by a canopy of island flora of their Vieques hotel. Their gardens are quite magnificent. They have many types of seasonal fruits, including avocado, mango, papaya, banana and almond trees. Flowering plants are everywhere, and gardenias are always blossoming.
In late summer, their Flamboyans are in full bloom. Imagine having your reunion, destination wedding or reception in these beautiful gardens!
